Deanna is a focused, detail-oriented Relationship Manager / Leader with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Her primary responsibility is a dual role with individual account executive duty on a book of business as well as leading a team of account executives, account managers and account administrators.
Deanna is accountable for driving all Mountain West series’ operational goals within her industry vertical as well as strategic plans. This includes creating and driving operational efficiencies, development / execution of account manager training program across several industry verticals / teams and implementation of strategies to assist in driving vertical growth / revenue.
Deanna supports all client partnerships, develops strategy around the negotiation of all terms and conditions to fit her clients' current needs / future growth. She is experienced in creating relationships with worldwide insurance carriers and is recognized for accuracy and integrity while maintaining flexibility in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Deanna has worked for several large brokers where her career book of business has included industries such as national food chains, hospitality, real estate, biofuels development, public entities, and nonprofit organizations both domestically and internationally. An important part of Deanna's job is to operate within the legal limit of nondisclosure as well as personal, ethical boundaries. She is a team player with a committed work ethic and cross-departmental, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Deanna’s experience does include working in the area of risk management; her skills to include working in conjunction with various disciplines such as risk control, data analytics and claims consulting.
Deanna has been an integral part of leadership / operations teams where she is / has managed and developed overall team caseload, trains / coaches associates, creates best practices, and carries out the company's strategic initiatives to streamline processes and procedures.
Additionally Deanna has a passion for being a part of diversity/equity/inclusion with a personal goal of being a contributor in creating an inclusive culture / environment where all are afforded opportunities. She has assumed a leadership role via committee on DEI education, training and programs.
