Industrial-Organisational Psychologist | Academic | Data Scientist
Hawthorn, Victoria
I am an organisational psychologist, academic, and data scientist. I have a passion for using data, research and evidence to help people, teams and organisations to face complex challenges and make better decisions.
As an organisational behaviour (OB) and human resource management (HRM) academic, I possess a strong general knowledge about both fields, with a specialisation in employee learning, innovation and people analytics.
I have worked in a diverse range of roles in the commercial, not-for-profit and the tertiary sectors. I currently work as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Management and Marketing at Swinburne University, where I actively consult with industry on a variety of people analytics projects. I previously worked for the UNSW School of Business, the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, Chandler Macleod, NSW Transport Railcorp and PTG Global. From 2015-2018, I served as the National Chair of the APS College of Organisational Psychologists, a senior and strategic role.
I have a strong proficiency in statistics, predictive analytics, and data science. I am a dedicated student of both the schools of machine learning and causal inference. I have taught postgraduate courses on advanced statistics (including experimental design, structural equation modelling, multilevel analysis, longitudinal analysis, meta-analysis, psychometrics and Monte Carlo simulations). I am also proficient in R, Python, SQL, visualisations, machine learning and artificial intelligence. A sample of my work is available on Github: https://github.com/Zendaug/.
