Frank van de Manakker studied Pharmaceutical Sciences (Pharmacochemistry) at VU University Amsterdam and obtained a PhD degree at the Department of Pharmaceutics at Utrecht University. With his background in pharmaceutical and medical R&D and product development, Frank offers over 15 years of experience in working with and for large, mid-sized, and start-up biotech, medtech and pharma companies. In April 2015, Frank joined EY and its Life Sciences community in the Netherlands and Western Europe. Frank currently works as client executive and industry specialist, where he helps pharmaceutical, biotech, and medtech companies in identifying and solving their key (industry specific) business challenges across the entire life sciences value chain, i.e. from R&D to product commercialization and patient experience. Hereby realizing better company results, sustainable growth, higher efficiencies, and/or lower risks and costs, and positively contributing to patient health and wellbeing.
