Let me start off by saying WELCOME and THANK YOU for stopping by. I believe a positive attitude helps you cope more easily with the daily affairs of life. It brings optimism into your life, and makes it easier to avoid worries and negative thinking.
If you adopt it as a way of life, it will bring constructive changes into your life, and makes you happier, brighter and more successful.
There is a Chinese saying that goes: “If you want happiness for an hour, take a nap. If you want happiness for a day, go fishing. If you want happiness for a year, inherit a fortune. If you want happiness for a lifetime, help somebody.
And the resounding answer is YES it dos, but it’s important to remember that giving doesn’t always feel great. The opposite could very well be, giving can make you feel depleted and taken advantage of.
I do like to help a fellow human being, because it makes me feel better about myself, it connects me with another person, at least for a moment, if not for life, and if that kindness is passed on, it can multiply, and multiply.
That's what I want! I want people to be passionate and willing to learn. Every now and then I get one who is not willing, but the majority wants it more than anybody else.
I am more than happy to help someone who is in a less fortunate circumstance than myself to an extent they that will eventually be able to help themselves and not be dependent on others again.
And afterwards it feels I had somehow helped the world-- in a very small way. I feel a sense of fulfilment.
