A bit about my academic background -- I am a human vision scientist with 10+ years of international experience. I've studied how we perceive color and size illusions, how we interpret 3D shape and lighting in natural scenes, how we perceive artistic style, and how sensitive we are to very fine details in photographic images. Overall, the common theme to my work has been comparing physical measurements of the world with human perceptual sensitivity.
