At present (summer 2016), I am volunteering my services to the Children of Armenia Fund, which has thirteen years of experience delivering state-of-the-art education, health and social services to rural communities in the Republic of Armenia. Most recently, in response to the human tragedy in the unrecognized de facto state of Nagorno-Karabakh, I traveled there with Dr Garo Armen, Founder and Chairman of COAF, to assess the extent of the emergency and to evaluate how COAF can contribute to meeting the humanitarian challenges that the resumption of serious hostilities in April has caused.
