Chief Operating Officer at Pressbox Publishing
Having always dreamed of working within football, I studied Sports Journalism at Staffordshire University and got my chance at Crystal Palace FC in 2012 running the club's in-house video channel.
By the end of the season, the club were promoted to the Premier League and enjoyed success myself by winning the Football League's Club Channel of the Year award, earning the club nearly £17,000 in prize money.
I was rewarded by being promoted to Assistant Communications Manager and took the lead in helping the club prepare for the Premier League, and fulfilling all our broadcast requirements with national and international media. During this time I got to travel the world with the club as communications lead on our pre-season tours to the USA, Canada, South Africa and Hong Kong.
Following a restructure that saw the club move its media operations to central London, I accepted the chance to become Programme Editor and return to journalism. In 2016 I was named Programme Editor of the Year.
After attending over 300 Palace matches, working in the Premier League for six years and interviewing some of the biggest names in world football, in February 2019 I was offered the opportunity to try something new, and became Head of Editorial at ProgrammeMaster.
After nine months of working closely with clients from a host of different sports, and managing a team of talented editors and designers, I was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in November 2019.
