Julia Schlam Salman is a tenured lecturer at the David Yellin Academic College of Education. Her research interests include language education, second language acquisition and second language learning and teaching. Julia is interested in the connection between language, power and ideology particularly as they relate to English language learners in areas of intractable conflict. Julia's research has also focused on identity construction and language acquisition and learning. Julia currently resides in Jerusalem with her spouse and four children.
