I like to play around with different os'es, network equiment, firewalls, storage and hardware in general. I can be very focused when trying to solve problems or to learn something new. I'd like to try out new things on a regular basis. I also do a alot of experimenting on test environment at home (Icinga, cacti, virtualization, nas, opensource firewalls,...). I like to put my main focus on open source products but this does not have to reflect in my job.

Besides that I also like to read (IT magazines, fantasy books, thrillers), watch movies (all kinds), listen music (and once in a while I go to a concert or festival), travel, walk and bycicle and last but not least I also play badminton a few times a week.

I am a bit of an adventurous person that is easy going, flexible and a problem solver. My weakest points are that I am not very good planning things is the long run.
