Madhyama Subramanian is a sustainability professional with over 12 years of experience in project management, partnership building, fundraising, research, and communications for sustainability initiatives by multilateral organizations, non-profits, and corporations in South Asia and North America.
Her areas of expertise include supply chain sustainability, natural resource management, rural livelihoods, and gender inclusivity. Since 2016, Madhyama has been working with Solidaridad North America. Here, she is responsible for building partnerships with stakeholders who are committed to improving sustainability in global commodity supply chains, along with developing and managing international Solidaridad projects.
Madhyama enjoys taking on strategic roles that enable her to lead initiatives at the intersection of business, sustainability, and social impact. A results-oriented worker, she thrives on working in diverse teams, bringing energy and enthusiasm to the initiatives she is part of, while working under tight timelines with attention to detail.
She seeks challenging assignments that enable her to take on new responsibilities, learn new skills and make an effective contribution to impact driven projects.
Madhyama holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Development Practice from UC Berkeley and an undergraduate degree in visual communication design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India.
