With more than 20 years in the Industry, Marisa has held different positions: (Start Up & Regulatory Affairs, CRA and Project Management) in both Contract Research Organizations and Pharmaceutical Companies.

She started with the setup of the local branch of a CRO focused on Oncology, -with Headquarters in Paris, France-, as Clinical Trial Assistant and Clinical Research Associate. Two years later she joined Novartis Argentina where she continued developing herself in Regulatory Affairs. Five years later, Marisa was offered the position of Start-Up Manager for Argentina and Uruguay at PAREXEL International S.A.

Late 2008 -and to gain experience in Early Phases- she joined ACLIRES Argentina (a CRO with an Early Phases Pharmacology Unit) as Project Manager and Quality Assurance. In September 2010 one of the main projects being carried out by ACLIRES was transferred to KLIXAR Argentina S.R.L. and Marisa kept her role as Project Manager for the study there. In October 2012 Marisa was appointed as Planning and Strategic Manager for LATAM Region for a local CRO with Regional offices in several countries in the Latam region.

In September 2015, Marisa was hired by Galmed Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Tel Aviv, Israel, where she currently holds the position of Associate Director, Clinical Operations.
