VP Product at Modus @ Seattle, Washington
Director Community & Engagement - CIO Office at adidas Founding Investor at Woolwind
I joined adidas in 2010.
In my first year I was responsible for the overlap of PR and Digital Marketing. I enforced guidelines, drove integrated campaigns and conducted the brands first Digital PR summit with over 50 internal participants from all over the organisation. I've build news.adidas.com as the central hub for information about the brand. Across all categories it was launched in 19 markets, build in 5 months and while it delivered one consistent look and feel across markets it also saved them money and time. It won the Digital Impact Award in 2011 and made a significant impact on our media outreach.
In my second year with adidas I broadened my scope and lead a x-discipline team building global strategies and campaigns for adidas Training, Tennis and Rugby. We re-positioned Training, joined Andy Murray when he played some Road Tennis and supported the All Blacks when they won the World Cup in 2011.
In May 2013 I was responsible for the adidas lab, an exhibition and experience showcasing that adidas is redefining the future of sport through innovation. It generated 3 Billion Opportunities to see and made headlines all over the world.
From 2014 to 2018 I oversaw Brand Marketing for the Heartbeat Sports Business Unit. This encompassed sports like Rugby, Tennis, Swimming, Handball and a few more. I worked on two Rugby World Cups, the Rio Olympics and numerous Grand Slams to showcase how adidas is rooted in sport.
Since summer 2018 I working alongside the adidas CIO and team to drive the recognition and reputation of the adidas IT Community and Capabilities inside and outside the company.
Working agency side I worked with the following brands:
Deutsche Telekom AG (T-Mobile, T-Home)
If it's PR, I did it. Crisis, Product, Speeches, Co-ops, Strategy, Speaking Opps, Old Media, New Media and anything in-between.
