I am passionate about incorporating scientific breakthroughs into tangible products with transformative business impact. At HP Labs Palo Alto, I have nurtured and developed the Commercial Printing Engine team as it has tripled in size. My team expanded to include marking engines, imaging systems, 3D printing, new printing platforms, piezo and thermal inkjet, software and cloud controlled products.

We have invented and commercialized products including a high-speed charging system that enabled doubling the printing speed resulting in a $1.5B new product line and a permanent roller that eliminated a key consumable in HP’s commercial and industrial presses.

My team is also responsible for a new business covering strategy, finance, business, the product, manufacturing, automation, customers, and legal.

With more than 100 issued patents and an additional 50 pending, I have been personally contributing to and highly involved in our research.
