Pete Harteveld has vast experience in leading and developing teams in the high tech and consulting industries. Pete brings with him a blend of sales, go-to-market strategy, business development, and consulting expertise which has enabled him to be successful both in the revenue and operational facing roles he has held. He has ample experience working with both large and small organizations alike and has developed the skills to manage the unique and differing demands both models present in a successful, highly valued manner.
High Tech Expertise:
Pete’s experience in the high tech space has offered him the chance to work across a number of technology platforms including mainframe, distributed, software-as-a-service (SaaS), and cloud. As a result, he has developed a keen understanding of the strategic, business, and operational elements of those technologies and their impact on customers. Pete has successfully navigated a transition from legacy to new buyers having shifted Compuware from Mainframe Operations to DevOps buyers during his tenure. Prior to joining Compuware, he built CA's Managed Service Provider Center of Excellence from the ground up, driving a new focus on this market segment. His diverse and rich experiences have allowed him to understand and adapt to changing markets while continuing to execute thoughtful and relevant strategies that drive company performance.
Pete has worked with both large and small organizations understanding market dynamics and disruptive business models and their impacts on competitive environments. He developed deep and practical expertise across a number of disciplines including organizational transformation, mergers and acquisitions, business process redesign, human capital management, sales force effectiveness, analytics, and business modeling. In addition to his customer-centric roles, he also served as chief of staff to his Worldwide and North American Managing Directors - learning all aspects of practice management and day to day operations of a large, global consulting firm.
