Over the years, Sebastien has developed a recognized expertise in leadership and team building through various roles such as pricing and market access, government affairs and health policy and business unit head. He had the opportunity to work on multiple product launches, drugs and medical devices reimbursement, M&A, Pricing, Development of healthcare related policies, Economic development and manufacturing expansions.

Through his tenure in various Fortune 500 companies, he developed a proven track record of empowering high-performing teams as well as developing effective direct interface with Boards of Directors, Senior Executives, Policy-makers, Healthcare Technology Assessment bodies (CADTH, INESSS, PMPRB, Health Canada, etc.), Government officials, key opinion leaders, scientific societies, and other relevant decision makers and stakeholders.

Sebastien serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Semafo/Endeavour Foundation, a mining company and gold producer. He is a board member of the Bioscience Association of Manitoba and the Palliative Home-Care Society Foundation. Sebastien was a select member to the 2015 edition of the prestigious Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference, acting as co-chair.

Sebastien holds a baccalaureate degree in Science (B.Sc.) from the Université du Québec à Montréal, an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Université Paris-Dauphine and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) specialized in Innovation and Technology, from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law. He completed the Rotman School of Management Directors Education Program leading to the designation of Corporate Director (ICD.D).
