I am a congenital cardiac surgeon with over 15 years of experience in the healthcare in Italy, India and UK. I have been clinical lead for cardiac surgery in the NHS in one of the 10 English congenital heart centres achieving excellent results and building a solid team through leadership and management. I am interested in surgical outcome for congenital heart procedures, airway surgery, teaching and the application of 3D and 4D cardiac modelling to surgical planning.
I think surgery plays a very small but pivotal role in making patients' lives better.
