Always being attracted by an international career (EU, South America), I discovered China in 2007 thanks to a university exchange in Shanghai at Tongji University. Convinced that China was a huge potential market, I started learning mandarin 6 years ago at Jiaotong University in an intensive one-year course and worked in a fully Chinese environment for the following 8 years.
Working at L'Oréal Travel Retail China made me realize I was very much attracted by competitive markets in a challenging channel of distribution. I actually discovered that I was able to operate efficiently in an local environment and create sustainable impact and business value.
I have deepen my retail knowledge through my experience at Kiehl's Asia-Pacific always putting at heart our customer service and satisfaction as this cosmetic brand mainly rely on its customer word-of-mouth to grow vs marketing campaigns.
Then, Apple. This well-known company for its high efficiency and customer focus taught me how to maintain high standards of service in a very competitive and expanding environment. Team management is the key to fostering growth and loyalty among our team and customers.
After 10 years in Greater China, I moved to the UK four years ago, willing to implement my retail & marketing experiences developed in Asia but also observe and learn from European best practices in the cosmetic industry, through two very enriching experiences at Kiko Milano, an expert in fast-retail make-up segment and Caudalie a strong skincare brand with a unique in-store customer experience.
