Global President of Pfizer Rare Disease; Aspiring to Deliver Breakthroughs for Patients with Rare Diseases
United States
As Global President of Pfizer Rare Disease, I lead a team that is dedicated to pioneering breakthroughs that have a profound impact on the lives of underserved patient populations.
While there are approximately 7,000 known rare diseases, less than 5% have an approved treatment. That is what motivates me and all of us in Pfizer Rare Disease to come to work every day. Collectively, we represent an organization of over 1,000 colleagues across 100 countries who are committed to addressing the unique challenges of the Rare Disease community.
I have held a number of leadership positions throughout my tenure at Pfizer, including Global President of the Hospital Business, Global President within Pfizer’s Essential Health group and President and General Manager of Pfizer Consumer Healthcare. Outside of Pfizer, I sit on The Board of Trustees of Drew University and have served in leadership roles on the Board of the Ad Council and several healthcare industry associations.
With our diverse portfolio of innovative medicines, transformative pipeline and global scale, I truly believe that Pfizer Rare Disease can make meaningful difference for patients and the Rare Disease community.
