Do you like stories? I love hearing them, just like most people. Only I've always enjoyed telling them too and today I’m convinced storytelling and editorial strategy can help improve many aspects of business.

So I run content marketing agency Collective Content ("We tell your stories"), am content director at digital agency and lab Xpointo and am a consultant to a number of businesses increasing their use of media-grade content.

I have been a publisher and editorial director at CBS Interactive UK and CNET Networks UK, running editorial teams. Before that I was an award-winning editor/reporter at Silicon Media Group. Brands I’ve looked after include business and management publication BNET UK, business technology titles silicon.com and ZDNet UK (www.zdnet.co.uk), CNET UK and gaming title GameSpot UK.

In 2012 I fulfilled a long-held goal and released my first book – Everything In Moderation: How to chair, moderate and otherwise lead events. As you might guess from that, I’m an experienced public speaker, presenter and conference organiser/chair/moderator.

In 2006 I created atlarge.com, a peer-to-peer community site for business travellers and forerunner of services such as Findery, Foursquare and Jiwire.
