Director of Commercial Development, Novilytic LLC @ Indianapolis, Indiana
Executive Chairman at OneStep, Entrepreneur, Investor
Amir is Chairman and co-founder of OneStep. OneStep is a mobile software platform that enables and optimizes recovery from physical challenges, with the goal of reducing healthcare costs and improving quality of life. Starting with the smartphone, and expanding to an array of sensors around us, OneStep leverages everyday devices to provide “always on” gait diagnostics, continuous feedback and direct connection to a therapist.
OneStep’s first target market is physical therapy for people recovering from strokes and is available for selected patients and therapists. Our proprietary technology automatically and continuously detects and analyzes gait through a smartphone’s sensors. OneStep turns the smartphone into a gait lab equivalent, only using a single smartphone, thereby making it available anywhere, anytime. OneStep extends the therapy to activity outside the clinic and to natural environments by providing physical therapists a record of the patient's progress at home and the ongoing ability to prescribe supervised exercises. Additionally, it empowers patients through real-time feedback and quantification of their progress, which motivates the patient toward continued healing.
OneStep is currently in use in clinics and with patients in Israel and is already improving outcomes.
