Senior data scientist and software developer with a background in product development and manufacturing. Strong mathematical background with a PhD in Physics and keen interest in software development, data analysis and modelling.

My varied career in development and manufacturing means I am experienced within large organisations but I also enjoy working with small technology startups. I maintain a flexible and innovative approach to developing new technology and overcoming issues and problems. I am an experienced team member, manager and project leader with a track record of developing individuals and teams. I have also led the successful adoption of Agile approaches to development and production projects in collaborative and dynamic environments to help deliver objectives under tight timeframes.

Passionate about my own continuous learning and the communication and education of science. I lead the implementation & management of the G24i Sustainability Centre, interacting with schools, colleges, universities & community organisations and regularly attend and speak at local technology meet ups, including co-organising AI Wales.
