Chief Marketing Officer
A B2B specialist, I joined the technology world within the disruptive world of ‘direct from Dell’, pioneering the adoption of ecommerce. 20 years working at the forefront of digital transformation and an early convert to the cloud world. A self-starter with experience of small starts up, own business and large global corporate matrices.
I've a strong business acumen and a reputation for leading and inspiring teams to achieve great things whether internal or virtual. They have been described as having Talent, Togetherness and Tenacity. A Marketing leader that takes the plan off the PowerPoint and makes it happen.
I am fascinated by the opportunities that a mix of AI and human endeavour will bring to customer experience and the challenge that integration with ‘everything’ presents.
As Head of Media Channels at BT Business I gained experience of managing a large team of people across PR, sponsorship, events and brand awareness. Marketing Director for Avaya built experience of UCaaS and Contact Centre solutions driving business opportunity for direct and channel sales. At Easynet I was a key member of the management team that turned the SME business into a profit centre. Promotion to Global Marketing Director broadened my experience of working across multiple countries ahead of company moving to MBO. At 8x8 I grew the brand from scratch in the UK, driving into the Contact Centre market and worked closely with sales to launch the channel partner programme in EMEA.
You will find me an excellent communicator, who persuades with good, informed debate, sprinkled with infectious enthusiasm. A strong internal morale contributor who wakes up happy and looks forward to getting to work.
A Fellow of the Institute of Direct & Digital Marketing and named as one of the top 20 B2B Marketers by B2B Magazine. A speaker at the IoD Women as Leaders conference, I enjoy mentoring both men and women on how to deal with challenges and influence their peers.
