After 28 years in the NHS, I took early retirement to develop my private practice in counselling and psychotherapy. Whilst I deal with anything which ails the human spirit, I specialise in working with survivors of trauma and childhood abuse.
I have been closely involved with National Cancer Support since its inception in 1984 and have worked tirelessly to develop the charity into a successful umbrella organisation working to enhance the effectiveness of cancer self help groups across the country.
I have recently been invited to become a trustee of a new charity The Spiritual Companions Trust, which seeks to promote a more spiritually aware atmosphere throughout the world.
