Kara is also a Certified Association Executive (CAE) and an Association Forum Forty Under 40® award recipient. She has a diverse background in association management, learning management system implementation, online continuing education, higher education fundraising, community foundation program development and animal behavior. As a thought leader, she has co-authored and contributed to articles and blogs, collaborated as a webinar presenter, participated on panel discussions, and presented at ASAE's annual conference in 2017, 2019 and 2021.

Kara enjoys roadtrips with her two dogs and aspires to own an Airstream trailer to travel the country and enjoy the view.
