I spent 20 years in the Middle East promoting Public sector development and SME capacity development. My background includes business development work for multi-stakeholder ventures (including public/private partnerships) with international corporations, consulting firms, international financial institutions and donors with the objective of achieving a solid bottom line for investors while contributing to economic and social development. I undertook the role of providing business solutions as well as fostering partnerships in some of the most challenging regulatory environments in the world including the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. While these countries ranked poorly on a global scale regarding the ease of doing business. It was in this perspective that I conducted overall assessments of the client (public and private sector) and recommended intervention strategies and expertise that would support their quality, operations and strategic objectives. Coordinated social development aspects of projects with international donors and host governments as well as other relevant non-governmental organizations; represented the United Nations at capitals-level meetings and in regional negotiations and presented to Ministerial-level international fora. Achievements: Cultivated and maintained effective, ongoing and open relationships with senior political, trade and bilateral development staff in over 30 international diplomatic missions and 14 United Nations Agencies; established a joint social development coordination mechanism with the international agencies to support programs and ensure conformity with strategic domestic priorities. Finally, during the last ten years, I take the position of Programme Manager and Team leader for LAB-AP. Manage daily programme financial & administrative activities, Leading The assistance team (17) legal, admin, IT,
and Media experts.
