His focus has been on modernizing the technology landscape to increase the velocity of innovation delivered to the end consumer, simplifying the ongoing operations, and optimizing the total cost of ownership.

As a result, Mark successfully delivered the technology modernization strategies, architectures, and solutions for:
1.) Marriott’s eCommerce and Reservation platforms that generates $15B+ annual revenue.
2.) The M&A of Starwood Hotels that migrated over 10+ enterprise platforms and 1,700 properties in 18 months
3.) The Customer Master Data Management Platform that serves over 160M members
4.) Marriott’s Call Center & Guest Experience Platform that is the largest Salesforce Service Cloud deployment globally.

In previous roles, Mark served in various IT leadership roles encompassing Software Engineering, Solution Delivery, Integration COEs, Architecture, and Operations functions. In earlier roles, Mark was one of five original members of a Healthcare Analytics startup that was eventually acquired by a publicly- traded Health IT company. Mark also served as the Head of IT (CTO) for a privately held Global Logistics organization.

Mark contributes his success to broad organizational collaboration. He believes that it is crucial to engage the organization in the co-creation of strategies, architectures, and solutions. Providing the business and IT stakeholders with the ability to contribute promotes trusting relationships and shared understanding of the business opportunities and challenges.
